About

Hi! I’m Kimberly Loveland a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children and a designer of couture children’s clothing. I have been designing and sewing since I was a child, and one of my earliest memories was watching my mother hunched over an old Singer sewing machine creating something so fabulous and hoping to one day to do the same. I guess you could say that this is when designing became my passion and I knew that becoming a designer is what I wanted to be. So after graduating with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and working in the children's clothing industry in LA for six years, I founded my first company called SewCoolClothing in 1999. I began designing and embellishing jeans for family and friends and by 2003, the company grew to nine commission sales reps and my line, which included diaper bags and purses, could be purchased in over 60 boutiques nationwide.

After the birth of our second child, I decided to step back from designing to be a mom full-time but that did not last long because during this hiatus I found my true passion… designing couture children's clothing. I discovered this after I had difficulties finding clothes that were both fashionable and functional for my daughter and especially for my son. I realized that other parents must be having the same problem so I started to design couture children’s clothes on Ebay and quickly developed a following of mothers and grandmothers who loved my designs. Inspired and driven by my success on Ebay, I decided to take the company to the next level. I changed the name to BeePlush Couture and started selling upscale children’s clothing to specialty boutiques. And to date, my designs can be found in over 100 boutiques nationwide and I have been featured in a number of magazines, on television shows and recently won 2nd place in the Texas Next Top Designer.

I have been very blessed with the success of BeePlush Couture over the past two years and I thank God for my talent and the opportunity to see the smiles on the kid’s faces when they first wear my outfit. However, I recently realized that my talent is design not managing a company and that my design style was limited because my Collections needed to be manufacturer friendly, so after a lot of prayer, I decided to stop selling directly to boutiques. Instead, I’m back doing what I love to do…designing and creating upscale couture children’s clothing (2T – Teen) for clients that need that one-of-a-kind design for the runway, that cute outfit for school, or clients that need an entire wardrobe. I am excited to have my design freedom back and I look forward to being your personal couture designer.

Thanks and God Bless!
Kimberly
